The Outeniqua Group of Companies specialises in geotechnical engineering, pavement engineering, construction materials testing and quality control. The Group consists of two main divisions: Outeniqua Geotechnical Services and Outeniqua Lab

The Outeniqua Group has grown from the establishment of Outeniqua Lab (Pty) Ltd in George in 1993 to a group of civil engineering laboratories and a professional geotechnical engineering consultancy operating nationally and internationally. The group of companies has been built upon a solid reputation in the Eastern and Western Cape with various local authorities, developers, contractors, architects, consulting engineers and environmental consultants.

In 2008, our professional geotechnical engineering consultancy was formalised with the inception of Outeniqua Geotechnical Services, based in Knysna. The consultancy was started in order to meet the growing demand for professional geotechnical services to address the complex geology and problematic ground conditions which are typical in the Southern Cape. The consultancy is now involved in projects nationally and internationally. Our wide range of services is delivered by a highly experienced team consisting of professional geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, civil engineering technologists and technicians.

Outeniqua Lab (Pty) Ltd was established in the 1980's and has built up a solid reputation for high quality and professional service throughout the country. We operate SANAS-Accredited commercial laboratories in George and Port Elizabeth and we operate numerous site labs on various contracts in the Western and Eastern Cape Provinces. Our mission is to provide accurate and efficient service delivery through competent and well trained staff.
